BEAUTY ON A BUDGET

Hiii guys :)
As a student I'm basically broke most the time and it can be hard when I want a million and one things! So thought I'd share some little money saving tips with you guys that I use myself!

Ebay bargains: I have recently discovered Ebay is an amazing way to save money. If you're looking for something more expensive always have a browse on Ebay before heading to the shop as people are always selling unwanted, unused products for half the price!
Use up your lipstick: I hate when you get to the bottom of your favourite lipstick and can't afford to buy another, but a good tip to make it last a little longer is to use a lip brush on the amount left at the bottom and you can use up every last bit!
SAVE: I know I know, obviously! But instead of splurging on that expensive foundation or another pricey lipstick, save up a little bit of money every week/month and you’ll have it no time! It won’t leave you with no money for the rest of the month and you’ll feel good cause you worked for it!

Check out the highstreet brands: I had always been a bit cynical of very cheap brands such as MUA at Superdrug and Natural Collection at Boots but seriously, give them a go! MUA do the most amazingly pigmented eyeshadows and gorgeous lipsticks that are only £1!! I have become a Natural Collection addict in the last few months, their lipsticks and blushes are so pigmented and last a fair amount of time too. I seriously recommend!
Find a dupe: If you’re looking for a specific colour of product whether it be a blush or lipstick, google the colour name and 'dupe.' You will find there are always people or other bloggers who have found a very similar colour for half the price.
Shop Around: In my experience I’ve found it’s definitely worth shopping around, comparing prices before buying! Online stores are the best for deals with cheapsmells and feelunique always having great deals on higher end brands! Debenhams and House of Fraser usually have some great savings on more expensive brands during their sale so I highly recommend checking those out!

Hope you're all having a good week! Thankyou all again for following and subscribing, means so much and I love reading all your comments! :)

The best of: Highstreet Nudes

Hi guys,
First of all I'd like to just say a mahoosive thankyou to all my followers!! It means so much that you guys take the time to comment and read what I have to say, so thankyou lovelies :)

So after my last post about my favourite nude lipstick I got a few comments asking if I knew any good highstreet nudes and some hadn't found a nude that suited them. So I thought I'd show you guys a few more, all slightly different shades so you can find the perfect nude too!

(Natural Collection Lotus, Rimmel Nude Delight, MAC Hue, 17 Beehive)

Natural Collection Lotus: This lipstick is very sheer though it’s definitely buildable. The colour that does appear is a lovely peachy/pink and it just adds a lovely flush of colour to your lips – I loves it! (£1.99)

Rimmel Nude Delight: I purchased this lipstick after trying it on and loving it. I’ve found it’s actually a little too dark for my liking now but combining it with another nude gets the perfect shade. If you have slightly darker skin this would definitely be a gorgeous nude for you as it is peach/beige toned. (£6.29)

(Natural Collection Lotus, Rimmel Nude Delight, MAC Hue, 17 Beehive)

MAC Hue: I won’t say too much about this lipstick as my last post was dedicated to it, but basically I’m in love with it. Perfect colour, perfect formulation, well worth the money! (£13.50)

17 Mirror Shine Beehive: This is newer purchase and I LOVE it. The formulation is soo moisturising and glossy. The colour is a light pink and quite sheer but it’s soo prettyyyy. (£4.59)

I hope this was helpful to those who were asking for some other nudes :)
Does anyone else have a favourite nude?

The Best Of: Bright Lipsticks

I’m a girl who loves a bit of colour in my life and this is no exception when it comes to lipstick! I’ve always been a bit shy with bright lipsticks but after purchasing a few, I’m obsessed! These are my top 4 which I think add such a nice pop of colour without being too in your face.

(BarryM 62 Vibrant Pink, Natural Collection Cherry Red, BarryM 146 Dolly Pink, BarryM 153 Pink Ribbon)

As you can see Barry M lipsticks are a favourite of mine, I think the price and pigmentation are fantastic so I would definitely recommend if you’re buying a bright lipstick for the first time.

146 Dolly Pink: This lipstick is definitely my favourite, it's just sooo purdyy. I can wear it during the day or just out for tea to add a bit of colour and it’s amazing in summer when you have a bit of a tan. (This was the lipstick I was wearing in my last FOTD)

Natural Collection Cherry Red: I’ve always been a bit scared of red so I thought I’d buy a cheap lipstick and if I never wore it, who cares! But after purchasing this last month I’m already loving it! The pigmentation in this lipstick is amazing for the price and it’s such a beautiful shade of red.

(From top to bottom: 146 Dolly Pink, 153 Pink Ribbon, 62 Vibrant Pink, Cherry Red)

153 Pink Ribbon: This is the latest edition to my collection. I would say this lipstick is more of a coral/red toned pink which I think is a really unique colour. I use this a lot as I can just dab a little on or really go for it for a statement lip!

62 Vibrant Pink: This is definitely the brightest of my lipsticks (and I have to admit I was scared to wear it when I first purchased it.) but after daring to wear it on a night out I now love it! If you’re a bit too scared of this one it adds a lovely flush of pink to your lips if you just lightly dab it on the lips instead of sweeping it on as usual.
